Juneau Park

I had an opportunity to explore Juneau Park in Milwaukee, WI today!

The park itself was lovely, and the weather was perfect!  Not a cloud in the sky!

There are a few compelling reasons why some people think the treasure may be buried in Juneau Park.  First, you can see Milwaukee City Hall from the park (just barely), and there is an outline of Milwaukee City Hall in the image.

Additionally, there is a statue in Juneau Park of Solomon Juneau, the first mayor of Milwaukee.  The bronze relief on the south side of the statue ("At its southern foot, the treasure waits", lines 23-24) show Solomon Juneau in a pose that is strikingly similar to that of the woman in the image.

Here is a photo the entire Juneau Monument.

Lincoln Memorial Drive (Step on nature, cast in copper, lines 8-9) is also visible and within a short walking distance from Juneau Park.  I walked from the "southern foot" of Juneau Park down to Lincoln Memorial Drive in six minutes.

Here are some other photos from Juneau Park.  Do you see anything I missed?  Any clues in the background?  Any secrets to be discovered?

The hunt continues.
